ZOMG XBOX360 VS. PS3 VS. WII ZOMG

It doesn't have good sells in my country, however 360 beat up PS3 in selling here, cause we're in a developing country, so many can't afford original games, that have more than 100% of taxes applied to the game's original price.

Same here. I loved the DKC series. I didn't like those spin off games though. And Dk64... I heard it was bad; They should have done DKC4 a long time ago, but whatever. I don't own a Wii, but, I wouldn't mind buying one just because of DKR.

when sales of the wii is mentioned, often people discredit the sales number because it's going after the broader market where the reference of broader market is in reference to casual gamers, or non gamers. . take natewlie for instance who would always discredit the sales of the wii by saying that you can't consider it because it's going after a different market, where different is in reference to casuals/non gamers, when compared to the ps3/360. the ps3/360 on the other hand is more inclined to be considered more serious as it's a console for the gamer, or hardcore gamers. so when we take ftoc devons idea that there is no such thing as hardcore vs casuals and only have gamers, then that means the sales number of the wii isn't discredited. if the sales of the wii isn't discredited, then that means there are a lot of gamers [no specifics of hardcore or casual] who have bought the wii. if 74 million gamers have bought the wii, that would suggest that these gamers like the wii. you buy what you like, not what you dislike.

now when we look at what he says after i've mentioned how the wii is a successful game console for gamers, he declines his take on the whole idea that there is only gamers as he does not believe the wii is the most successful game console for gamers. he says how i'm not smart, don't understand how to read, debate, etc.... all that negativity is a way of debunking my idea. in other word, he lied on his stance!

Actually, my posts were impartial. I made it explicitly clear not to pick a side in this "debate" and just post whenever I find a problem in basic research, such as your inane posts, or when a pet peeve is brought up, such as "real gamers".

To be honest i've only dealt with you for 3 posts and they were excruciating. Your attitude is nothing new to me, what makes me despair for humanity is that your 30+ years old. As you can see, I've bolded and Italicized the parts where I talk about the wii, to make it clearer for you I've even turned up the font size of the references up to 72 points, just so you can read it without glasses. I hope this clears up your confusion.

 

To be fair, I was only comparing the 360 versus and the PS3, and then you'd bring up the Wii, at that point you were inserting words into my post like 'Why isn't the Wii compared???'.

At which point we can assume you have no real good point in the discussion as you enjoy avoiding and tip toeing between every post referred to you.

 

i didn't put words into his mouth. his post is heading in a direction that will make things more complicated for him and everyone else. all i'm asking is if he is for certain that he wants to jump in that direction. the decision he makes [on rather to move forward or leave] will have these two end result. if he wants to make that leap, then we'll go for it. if not then it's a retraction of what he says because he does not want to go that direction, which concludes that his comment is irrelevent. it is why i ask him the question first before moving forward.

i couldn't but help to quote ftoc devon and natewlie. their comments is an indication of failure. ftoc devon is a hypocrite. we have now two examples. we have the first as mentioned and now this one, which is why i quoted. his post is a declaration of his act of hypocracy as he does not practice what he preach. if he had to make a stance for the wii, he would not do so because it undermines what he thinks as gamers, that the idea of the wii having sales from casual gamers is actually insane and doesn't make sense. in the end, he's actually saying that the idea of casuals as a gamer is a joke. if this was a ps3/360 debate, we would definitely see a stance. but with this being a ps3/360/wii debate, he could not take a side that goes according to his ideology as gamers because in practicality, it's absurd.

now with the instance of natewlie, she is trying to say that the wii is still for non gamers and is discredited forever, even it the wii sold at 200+ million worldwide and the ps3/360 only do 50 million each. the ps3/360 should only be compared with each other and only each other. the sudden idea of introducing the sales and success of the wii undermines the inequality of sales between hardcore gamers and casual gamers. it goes back to the idea that she's trying to clear her stance as a person who is unbias. but she can't deny what she have said.

btw, check out ftoc devons grammer problem from his previous post that i have quoted, which were never addressed by dypr nor natewlie. what happened to the professional writing expertise that these three geniuses were suppose to have?! what this serves is to show that there is a hardcore groupie in this entire forum. be very careful on what you say because they'll ask one of their big brothers like reider to boot you out or delete your post.
