What worked for me was paying attention to the metronome in the background. It goes UP DOWN DOWN, UP DOWN DOWN, UP DOWN DOWN...The trick was, after the notes light up and Carben points to you, start playing the flute on the UP and be finished playing by the second DOWN. I hope that helps.

Im stuck in the part in the sand place. Im with the old lady and in order to go to the sand temple I have to play the song they give me like the rest to them. BUT it seems that no matter how many times I try and no matter how close I get I can never get past it and its kinda ticking me off. Does anyone have the same problem?

Yeah, if you were able to get to the part where you find Linebeck the III you can trade your treasures for train parts.

 

Once you open the way to the Ocean Relm you go back and talk to Linebeck III.... He will trade you train parts for the treasures you collect.... You can also sell your treasures to him for money....

 

i'm stuck on finding the regal ring! someone help

 

I can't get the gears to appear when you first get on the train. :'( Can anyone please help me??? I would really appreciate it.
