Just to let everyone know the link posted by Snuggerdog in post 1424 on page 57 of this thread works fine (and with train controlls) on the r4 card.

 

So, I've read around this message board. Forgive me, I haven't read all 59+ pages so if this has been asked then fire away.

Question is: what does the .crack file do? It seems you just rename .nds and plunk it on top of the .bat file (which hasn't worked out for me yet). So what's with all the other crap in the file?

 

It trims and patches the game, so the trin controlls work while you are on the train

Despite my previous message, I'm still unable to play Zelda, I have downloaded the game with patched form 3 different websites and everyone doesnt work, always get the white screen and thats it

I have a M3 real deal card, and verison 2.51, can somone please let me know what else there is to do or is there another file that i need if so, what and where from. ????. If someone can send a PM so its easier to understand. thnak you in advance to anyone who can help

To run it disable the soft reset but pressing the R button on your DS, and the (R) sign it top right corner should be RED not green

To buypass the Xenophobia screen just press A button

Just to re-iterate this, I also have a standard R4 Card (Although after all the crap I've had lately getting new games to run I think I'll be changing) and the link that Snuggerdog posted on Page 57 DOES actually work, train controls too. I've tried countless other link's to different versions of the ROM provided and this is the only one I have managed to get working. I am NOT using YSMenu and running on the newest R4 firmware.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I couldn't be arsed scrolling through 57 pages of posts to check if anyone else is having same problem

I'm using a M3DS Real card with the latest software, and the game runs fine. However, if I save the game and turn off the ds, when I go back into the game it creates a new save file, even though one already exsists, and I have to start again from beginning. Any ideas as to why, or how I can fix? (I used the pre patch ROM xpa-lzst-cracked.nds)

I got a question if i save on my ds and when i play the game my save file is gone please help!

 

So far, I haven't managed to find a version that works with my DSOne card. I've tried the one at mediafile, which doesn't work. I've tried patching the one from romulation myself, which doesn't work. Just downloading one VERY SLOWLY from filesavr, hopefully that'll work. I'm running the very latest firmware from DSOne. Any clues? I've scanned what felt like a million pages of this thread (though in actuality it was only about 20).

 

Get the newest firmware (rc8) from the forum and you will be able to play without a patch!
