Zelda spirit tracks AP

I'm terribly sorry if I appear very stupid, but I read almost all of the above and I still don't get it.
I use a R4 card and I have tried both the USA and Europe version of the game, but both do not give me the train controllers.
I am not good with anything electronic but can someone please try and explain to me what I should do?

 

What version of R4 are you using?, original! or clones like R4III est

 

As far as I know the original. When I first tried it, the game didn't work at all but then I downloaded the new software 1.18 and
then the game worked, but not the train controls.

 

If you do have the orignal R4 then this will work

Backup games and .sav files, Format your card , drop and drag all files from rar arcive on microSD card , place your games in NDS Games folder

Use (U) version of zelda game clean rom , that means unpatched

And it will work, (Note) if its a clone then you will get a dldi error

Also check Changelog.txt for a list of new games that work with the new firmware

Yes the (E) will not work with either kernal or firmware, but the (U) version will with the new firmware unpatched

 

For me i'm using Dstti v1.17a12 without the patch, and it works. You can download it at the ndstt website.

If it was the gold I wouldn't even need to ask...cause it would work. I have the older non gold one.

Did you deleate all files of the microsd card befor replacing the new files onto it?, The new firmware works on my R4 revolution for SD (NDSL/NDS) card with the (U) version rom

 

Yeah I did but I discovered that when I play it in the YSMenu thingie that it works so thanks anyway ^^

 

I Edied my post befor you downloded , You may have got it mixed...

This is self boot as ysmenu.nds was coverted to _DS_MENU.dat

What type of R4?... , have a look at your box or card
