thank you a lot for all your help. I've just managed to recover all the files i need with the easeus recovery program and will try to buy a decent adapter.

umm... actually i've just tested it and none of the files (.nds & .nds.sav) seem to work on my ds...

there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the files looking at them on the PC but the actual games won't play (which doesn't matter as i can just replace them with an old download of the game) but the saves don't work either, it doesn't come up with the proccessing part asif it were new but seems to start me from the beginning on every game.

 

Might be worth uploading one of your save files somewhere for someone else to check to see if it works for them.

 

kk. do u know where there's a free, safe website to upload to?
