Yesterday i had 16GB RAM, now i have 4?!?!

    Oh! Hehehehe... guess it's not loose then >.>

    And i checked the motherboard, it does have the little battery to remember the RAM...any other possible causes Loony?

    battery is nothing to do with the ram.

    I would have to say that theres some dodgy hardware involved, either the ram itself, the slots or the controller.

    Eeuh, wtf?

    A computer that can use the 16 GB of RAM can also display the number of how much RAM it has...

    Sort of, its my mate's apartment. I live there for 4 weeks a year and hes nearly at my level in computer repairs
