Misspelling (Of Raito's name. It's Raito, not Light. If it was Light then his name would be Hikari in the Japanese version)

Well Raito, is Romanji for light, this is how it works:

English: Light -> there's no "L" in Japan so they choose the next best thing "R", & by the way, in japanese, the "R" sound sometimes turns into "L", so light becomes right.

There's no silent "gh" in Japan, so you drop it & get "rit", but the "i" is pronounced as "ai", so it transforms to "rait", again, there's no "t" in kana (katakana or Hiragana) so you put "to", which can be read only as "t" & get the final result "Raito"

And that Hikari thing, if that was his name, obviously translators will use Hikari, instead of light, as Hikari would be a proper name.

    Back to the game,

    Localization
