Hi. I have an R4 SDHC with the latest firmware v1.34. I formatted my SD card, installed the firmware, intalled wood for M3 and put two roms in there. Wood loads just fine, I can see the text and all, but I can't open the rooms. I go to the rom I want to load, press A and it gets stuck in the loading screen after. I have tried several combinations, reformats, etc, always the same. Any ideas please?

I have your same card does not work with try to use wood YSMenu v6.49 for clones, but also have some problems with that.
or use WAIO v1.15 for R4 Clones and although not 'was more' updated

 

I have the same card as you. This post incorrectly states that R4 SDHC's can run Wood for M3. Unfortunately, we can only run WAIO and Ysmenu for clones. The only SDHC's that can run Wood for M3 as far as I know are R4 SDHC Upgrade, but not the plain R4 SDHC

 

Note to all users of R4SDHC:
To clarify the situation, there are plenty of clones of R4 and M3 (some having SDHC capability). Concerning the R4SDHC, there are (at least) two different flashcards having the exact same name "R4SDHC". To distinguish them look at the link indicated on the cart or the box.

The flashcard with http://www.r4rts.cn/ or http://www.r4rts.com/ seems to be an M3 clone and works with Wood for M3 (and TTMenu for R4SDHC).

The flashcard with http://www.r4sdhc.com/ is an R4 clone and works with WAIO (and YSMenu for R4 Clones).
(Note: to use YSMenu with firmware v.1.34, you have to remove all Pandora related files or use v.1.32.)

R4SDHC Upgrade is another clone (see http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/), but I don't know which firmware works on it.

so i shouldnt use wood r4 for m3?could someone post some links to what i need to use?ysmenu?or waio?o.o i just wanna run latest roms the firmware i currently have runs perfect golden sun dark dawn but i think its an old game and newer ones have worse anti-piracy XD thx

 

Hey everyone, I have a problem with the new firmware the 1.24 for NDSi apparently when I had put the program clean installation. As I turned on my DS it was stuck on the loading screen, I am pretty new to the wood firmwares and this might help in finding a solution. I was using the R4i on a NDS lite because before you were able to use it so could there be a possible reason that the wood firmware such as the NDSi is meant for only NDSi's?

I apologize if it's a bit confusing my grammar is pretty horrid.

I am using the latest Wood for the NDS, Wood v1.24 for R4iDSN

 

What flashcard are you using?

Try Wood for M3.

 

I was wondering if Wood R4 would work on a R4 bought from China, its Chinese and its the R4 Original but even the firmware was Chinese. I tried the firmware with English and it didn't work so I was wondering if this ENGLISH Wood R4 would work on a Chinese R4 Original.
