do i need this?

 

noob here :\ but im just wondering were is the .nds version for clones (1.22)

 

Thats probally the system folder of your old kernel!
If you dont use it anymore, then just trow it away!

I'm waiting untill 'Wood R4 for R4iDS Gold' is released,
then i converd all '_ds_menu.dat' files to .nds at the same time.
Just wait a day!

Hey sorry if this is redundant, but when I download the Wood R4 1.22 version, I only get one of the two files (DAT_system), while not getting the rpg folder. Also I get a bunch of random files, am I supposed to extract all of that onto my R4? It uses WinZip automatically when I download as well, is that the problem?

 

um i have a problem i have an r4 clone and i have wood r4 1.22 and i tried ghost trick and it worked but when i tryed kingdom hearts re:codded it dint can some one plz help me

Are you sure you have an R4 original card?
If so it should say, R4DS Revolution 4 DS
if not then its a clone.

The RPG folder must be inside the rar file and yes you have to extract it all to the root of your card!

 

All right, I managed to get my R4 SDHC working.
For R4 SDHC users who are still getting errors like "savfile not founded" or "r4didl.dat error !", try this :
- delete all your old directories and system files
- download "R4SDHC v1.32" (YES, 1.32 and NOT 1.34), "WAIO 1.15" (the "build" dir) and "R4 CLONE YSMenu v6.44" and copy all files and dirs on your card (YSMenu must be copied last).
- load YSMenu.nds on your DS.

erm, you dont need any other firmware to load YSMenu!
You can also load it with v1.34 if you want and you dont need the build dir eather!

 

Well, with 1.34 I get the "r4didl.dat error" message and without WAIO I can't get some prgs to run.
Maybe my R4 SDHC is a R4 SDHC Clone

It says R4 sdhc Revolution for DS.

 

Hey Nelsonox or anyone else, I'm having similar problems with my R4 SDHC card. I downloaded the WAIO v1.15 and sent all of the 'build' files to the root of my R4, but am still stuck at the Loading screen. Apparently I need v.1.32/4 and YSMenu? Do you have links to these two files? Also I'm unsure as to what specifically I should keep and what I should delete on my R4, here's what's on my card now:

_system_ File Folder
English File Folder
Games File Folder
moonshl File Folder
_rpg File Folder (got this from R4 original v1.22, just realized my R4 is actually a clone)
_DS_MENU.DAT DAT File (also from v1.22)
English 1.18 RAR file
English 1.23 RAR file

 

You have a super clone. It's pretty much a clone of a clone of a clone.
Wood will be of no use for you.

 

its an acekard clone. you can use akaio 1.8.1 for r4 ultra which is found on the card's website

 

Okay thanks for the help I copied those files to it but it did not make any difference. Still a bank white screen right after turning on my Ds, any more suggestions?
