Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

Oh, bummer, untill I manage to run it, can't save with it, do you think the issue will go away someday?

 

I have a quick question, I have an R4 and I just added this software to my R4, but the cheats don't work. I have the USRCHEATS.dat file in the correct place, in settings I changed it so cheats will work in game but when I press Y on a game I can't chose cheats. I have the options X-cheats Y-settings A-ok, and if I press X or press it with the stylus it doesn't work, anyone know how I can fix it so the x button works for cheats? Btw its not my ds' x button, that works fine in normal games

 

Maybe the cheats do not work currently?

If the project will continue, it can go away...not really sure.

 

open the global settings file from the _rpg folder(just look for it)
then it will open in notepad, there's a cheats note saying 0.
change it to 1 and check it again and the cheats are one of the commonly known problems when installing wood for the first time like the "saves not working"


then enable it in the wood settings
press start
go to settings
go to patches
enable either global on or just on. it works the same for me

 

You can also do that in the Wood R4 settings menu.

 

There could be multiple reasons for this. It could either be that the USERCHEAT.DAT doesn't have the game you want cheats for added(if you got it from Narin or someone else), you put the game ID wrong or from another region, or you didn't put things in the correct folders.

 

Its becauce Wood R4 isnt fully compactible with cheats yet.

 

He updates fast so I don't think I'l be downloading his updates until 2.0 or something.

 

But his updates are great.

Each update comes further to the R4 SDHC compatibility

 

We just have to see.

I download it when it has got R4 SDHC compatibility.
When it doesn't, there is no need for it here.

 

I heard YellowWoodGoblin was an angel from Pirate Heaven, he has come down to earth to save the people with R4s.

 

I've updated the Wood R4 Save converter.

It can now convert saves back to *.sav.

I found a bug in the batch file.

It won't convert back.

Ah well.

 

some difference between using the save converter
or rename the file?

 

v1.0 converts .sav to .nds.sav only.
v1.1 converts .sav to .nds.sav and .nds.sav to .sav

 

Can someone explain to me what is the .cc file created when I activate cheats?
