You are using it on another NDS/Flashcard then your brother's right.
Try using his flashcard for a second and after that your card and his DS for a second,
It can be the contact in your DS what causes this!

He could if he has the information of the flashcards from manufactors, or whatever it is called.
But as far as for WAIO, its dead!

I'll test the card with his flash cart once I get it ready again.

I still have my original r4 and a 1 gb card, they seem to be working fine with the game and the saving..

I wonder, I'm used to just downloading form r4ids.cn and just loading the files onto the root of my microsd card, but coming to your forum topic I see an extra .nds file to download, is that already packaged with the file that's distributed by the developing group, or should we put that in separately?

The .NDS file is only for loading Wood R4 as an secondary firmware,
but i think it is because of the card doesnt make good contact in your DS!

Thanks for the quick help, I think that might be one of the reasons, I cleaned the contacts with rubbing alcohol (before it takes a few tries, by taking it out and putting it back in again, to get it working) and it loads on the first try. The weird thing is when I put it into my computer it doesn't recognize the memory card format... that's why I think it might be failing on me.

If it's the contact problem, is there anyway to fix it? I think a long time ago I read fixes about taping the r4i a bit on the front to force it to touch the contacts better.

I don't think there is a way to permanently fix it.

It might just be bad luck with a faulty card then. I've been running the memory card on my old r4 and it works fine with no problem.

I guess the file was probably corrupted because of loose contacts when saving or something.

I like the old r4 where they had the spring in place, the r4i microsd slot never did seem very secure.

It isn't your card only; every card does that. It is impossible to avoid.

That isn't original. Notice it says "Upgrade"

This means it's a clone, an unsupported one none the less, and will not run Wood R4.
