Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

i've downloaded version 1.20 for original R4 but when i put the R4 in my DS lite it says that there isnt a ds card there - what have i done wrong?

 

You sure you have the R4 Original and not a clone/fake?

 

If you are using a DS Lite then this problem is nothing to do with firmware. It's more likely to be a problem with the contacts on your card, or the contacts in tour DS's slot-1. Try jiggling the R4 about a bit.

 

Hello I have a R4 Sdhc and I'm just wondering why you stopped updating the waio because it was very useful and i wish i could know why you stopped updating it?? and maybe hoping you can change your mind and update everyone once in a while so people like me that have the same flash card like me could have the chance to play on their ds's.

well. next time dont use many emoticons . and coolkill3r is not the one that updated waio, it was xenon++. he stopped because it was kind of dificult to port wood to be waio, so he retired. but if you need firmware updates. use ysmenu. it is up to date

 

Thats the thing i havent found any forums that helped me out with with ysmenu. Could you please help me to get it to run on my flashcard? :-\

I tried The TTmenu but it gave me an error saying " r4didl.dat error!". What can i do to fix it?

 

do you have the r4 sdhc that uses firmware 1.34?

 

My Card is a R4 SDHC DS happy Box and its version is 1.19b so i dont know what to do.

 

are you using ysmenu for clones?

 

Ye i copied the fold 'R4_CLONE" to the root of my sd card and it gave me that error when i pressed on a game.

 

you need to copy the files inside that folder to the root of the sd card. try using the one for r4 sdhc

 

Still no luck. Do you think you can right me instructions and something that might help me please? or maybe find some videos that show how to make my error work ?

try using the one for dstt, dstti. use ysmenu though, not ttmenu. copy ttmenu and ysmenu.dat to root and rename ysmenu.dat to ysmenu.nds

 

I STill get The Stupid Error "r4didl.dat error" i dont know what to do. Thx anyways i think I'm gonna quit playing my ds if only they didnt stop the updates for the waio version i would be playing really comfortably with my ds. Thx To all that supported the waio version!!!!!!!

Yellow Wood Gobling isnt the creator/updater of WAIO, that is Xenon++.
But he quit and asked me to take out the update files so it wont be updated anymore!

 

Is anyone else getting the problem of having their 2gb sandisk microsd card corrupt on them using the wood v2.0? My brother's seems to work fine, I still worry about it dying like mine (stuck on the load screen, and when plugged on the comp it asks to reformat the card.

I think it's just my card being faulty (probably bought a bad one)...
