I have tried using the instructions you mentioned on Reply #1583 as well as Tadasa's following post. I have in my root - R4\English-1.34 files, then added all the files to root - R4\WAIO v1.15 (REPACKED v2.0)(CK3)\waio\build. I ran moonshell, then WAIO, and if I select to paly an older game it works not problem. When I select a newer game such as the new COD U or E, I get a message stating the sav file is fragmented. I have tried to run the game by loading WAIO from the original firmware then the game itself and same loading problem. Any other ideas? Thanks, cyberbri

 

First of all, WAIO is outdated, so it can run latest games like COD
Second what is your flashcard, R4 Original?

I am currently using the "English-1.34" firmware on my R4 SDHC w/4GB microSD for my DSL. I just went to load on the COD Black Ops but no luck. I have searched on many pages to find what I believed to be an update for this flashcard. I downloaded: R4i V1.29b, r4 sdhc - ysmenu, WAIO v 1.15 (repacked v2.0)(CK3), 23051-Wood_R4_v1.19, Wood R4 for Clones, 12182-wood_r4_v1.11. So far not having any luck. I do have an original R4 with 2g chip working. But any time I try to do anything with the R4 SDHC I just get nowhere with games either not loading or white screen. I have looked for answers on plenty of forums but will ask once more before I give up. Is there a current firmware file posted for the this flashcart? http://www.r4sdhc.com/r4sdhc.asp I currently have the black cart. Not the newer one w/red/yellow sticker.

He mentioned about 'following' tidasa, so he must have got an R4i SDHC too.

I have the R4SDHC. It's not the i version. I keep trying to used the intructions using the dual boot method for the R4SDHC method. I am not having any luck. I'm being persistant because I know I can make it work using this flashcart. So far, not happening. Thanks, cyberbri

And as for WAIO, have you read the spoiler just below the WAIO download?
If not read that, it has the instructions on how to instal it on R4 SDHC!

Yes. I have tried the WAIO instructions using all the different loader options. Still no luck. I get dual black screens after the loading message appears.

 

Hi, I downloaded this one: WAIO v1.15 (REPACKED v2.0)(Wood All In One) for R4 Clones

My firmware is r4i pro v1.27.

I got woodr4sdhc.nds running but it won't load every single game that I have. Is it because of the savefiles?

I know my card sucks but it's the only one I got.

Can you help me?

 

It's outdated and can't run most of the newer games and it won't be updated.

 

A more simple awnser, WAIO wont work on your card because your card is not supported.

I tried it just now.

The YSMenu runs but it says: "Unsupported DLDI Name" when I try to run a game.

Thanks anyways. I better stick to this firmware and start scouting for pre patched roms and hope to God they will work on my card.

 

what files do you have on the root of your sd

 

I have a similar problem to his. my card simply wont play any of my games but i can use the loader itself. i have the r4i gold christmas edition.

 

Try these two,
Wood R4 for R4iDS Gold
Wood R4 for R4iDSN

GAMES folder
YSMenu.nds

 

Can i ask where did you download your YSMenu?
Because that YSMenu you have may not work!
