Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

Hey sorry to be asking this but my R4i Gold card is on the way does the Wood R4i Gold version work on V.1.4.1
I'm guessing it should but since i don't have it yet wondering if someone has already done this i don't want to mess something up

The great Xenon++ (the creator of WAIO) has stopped on GBAtemp.
This means that he will not update WAIO again, it is a shame!
He deleted all his files but i managed to get my hands on the latest WAIO version for you guy's.
I also asked and got his permission to upload it if i delete the 'rpglink' folder.

Apart from that, I am willing to get a 2 GB micro SD card with the Wood R4 DSTWO plugin so I can test games with you guys.

 

thats bad news to all r4 users. they will have to go back to using ysmenu aswell

 

What exactly is WAIO? Is that some kind of program needed for WOOD R4?

Yesterday I got my new R4i (Gold) V2.0 card for the DSi-XL. Now almost no game is running with "original" SW. Even there is no other SW to find somewhere!
On the R4 original for the DSLite I have installed the Wood 1.15. Every game is running fine -> even "Sims3"!
Therefore I was really hoping to get soon a WAIO version of Wood for this :'( R4i (Gold) V2.0 card from www.R4ids.com. Without an alternative SW like Wood is that card for the DSi-XL almost useless.

 

as far as i know WAIO doesnt even work on R4i's

And for those guy's who want the .nds file for v1.16 give me some time,
and because WAIO wont be updated anymore. i'll make an .nds file for that too!
EDIT: made a mistake tought that it where .dat files sorry.

are you saying you can actually make a new woodr4sdhc.nds based on wood 1.16?

 

No, he makes a .nds file for R4 Original users who don't want Wood as their primary firmware, but still want to use it.

If the firmware doesn't work on your cart, it still isn't going to work.

and another thing, what's the difference between the repacked version with the original one? for WAIO 1.07, i mean

Ok this gonna sound stupid but if you use the wood 1.16 firmware you don't need the .nds file right?
