actually, the Waio.7z in the link has the last modified date listed as 28 Oct 2010
and on the last page of the topic he said that he had already updated Waio to version 1.07
so i'm guessing he just hasn't updated the first page.

 

he only has updated the code base not the rest!

Okay, I did everything to install Wood R4, but I'm getting the "forever loading". I have the R4-III Upgrade.

 

What version of Wood R4 did you use?

Went on youtube and posted this
"I have an R4 Plus, LEGIT/ORIGINAL, and man........dosen't work, followed your tutorial word for word, picture for picture, I get to the games screen, press a game, stays on the processing data for ever, like its frozen."

And I got a response back saying:

Sorry Wood r4 only works on "R4 Rev." it wont work on "R4 Plus"
Go to the site thats on your card to get the Kernel for your card.

So, is their anyway for me to play newer games or, is there any at least older WOOD firmware files that will work, or maybe in the future ?

yes, wood wont work on your card since its an r4 clone. you can either try waio or ysmenu

 

I tried WAIO, same problem, "Processing, dont power off" is frozen when I try to load a game. Where can I get YSmenu ?

EDIT: Wait, is YSMenu newer or older then my original R4 Plus firmware ? I searched it on google and last time the forum post for the installation guide was updated in 2008. My R4 Plus firmware on the official website is on 2.0 and was last updated on :
1- R4 plus V2.0 kernel (English) 2009-05-01R4DS

Chucked YSmenu, followed the tutorial, an older game like Mario Kart works, but when I tried Super Scribblenauts, I got "Rom Loading failed" "Load rom errcode=-4", any clues ? Does the new YSmenu not suppourt Super Scribblenauts ?

EDIT: Read the official forum for YSmenu, there was no fix for Super Scribblenauts yet lol, so nevermind.

 

Does someone maybe have an R4iDSn? if so please test Wood R4 v1.14 for R4iDSn.
