Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

Ahhhh YES thanks it's working perfect, now I can load Super Scribblenauts.

It was working perfectly with the regular Zelda theme or the skins that come with the firmware. Every other theme I tried caused freezing when trying to access the settings options.

And then it started freezing when trying to access some games, and it corrupted a few save files.

I'm going back to Kernel 1.37, and I'll be trying WoodV1.14.2.nds

EDIT: Well, I've played around and as I expected I couldn't get the Wood.nds to work with the R4ids gold. I tried tampering around with kernel, and I tried with Wood for R4ids. Both ended up in a black screen

 

Could you please try another game mabey its just scribblenauts!

The wood R4 v1.14.2.nds file i created is made from the _ds_menu.dat of Wood R4 for R4 Original
so it doesnt work!
If you want an .nds file for R4iDS Gold you'll have to R4Crypt -d it

EDIT: you know that the .nds file is only for the Wood R4 Original version do you?
and you use a clone!

i'm quite confused with the installing. what do you do after copying _DS_MENU.dat and _rpg? i tried using waio on my R4III upgrade. it freezes on the loading screen, there isn't a dat file in waio so i used the one for original R4. i'm currently selecting the r4 loader, i not actually sure if it's the one to use.
i'm desperately trying to get style boutique (patched), tetris party, alice in wonderland and sonny with a chance roms to work.
i'm willing to try any possible soultion to get them to work.

 

You must only use the WAIO fles nothing else. Get the original _DS_MENU.dat file for your and put it on your card. Then go ínto the builder folder of the WAIO folder. Put _rpg into the root of your card and woodr4sdhc.nds.

 

i'm guessing you're referring the _DS_MENU.dat for orginal R4, that's the one i'm currently using. do i load the games after loading woodr4sdhc.nds? that doesn't work, the screen freezes with 'loading' on the screen.

 

No use _DS_MENU.dat that is designed for your card R4III. Go to http://www.r4iii.com/ and download the kernel a replace the R4 _DS_MENU.dat with the _DS_MENU.dat from R4III

 

did that just now. but the games refusing to work on the original kernels refuses to work on woods. style boutique used to work on my r4 after being patched, but it's not working after tried to install other firmware to play tetris party, even with the original firmware i used. any solutions?

i think it's most a problem to do with the r4, i tried formatting but it's refusing to work!!

 

Let me clear this up for you because its plain simple!
WAIO doesnt work on R4III!

can any one help i have extracted and taken the files out of wood r4 and put them on to my sd card and it just shows the rpg folder and wont let me load it or anythink
