Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

You can't change from 'YSMenu' or 'Wood R4' to 'R4 Kernel v1.18'
So you have to make 'R4 Kernel v1.18' your default firmware!

For 'YSMenu' change the '_DS_MENU.dat' file into 'YSMenu.nds'
(you only have to change .dat to .nds)

For 'Wood R4', download the 'Wood R4.nds' file from the 'Downloads' section from the first page!
Then run that file on your flashcard to load 'Wood R4'
(the only problem is that the file is created from the '_DS_MENU.dat' file of 'Wood R4 v1.04'
So it means that it doesnt have the compatibility to run all of the latest (5000+) games!)

Luckily I don't have to update my DSTWO often
Though they may improve the in-game menu ALOT.

 

When i started with my new R4 card i was aslo a noob (not for long )
But like everyone els i had to learn it all by myself whit a bit off help from Romu!
So if he cant do it then hes just lazy!

Yes, to downgrade to 1.11.

Not on an 8GB SDHC card.

I guess it will work with an 2GB
