you can download ysmenu fixes, it comes with the latest usrcheat.dat. even though you dont use ysmenu, the usrcheat.dat is updated regularly with the fixes.

i still wished wood came out for clones. a working and compatible version

It's not a team, Yellow Wood Goblin is just one guy (he had a bit of help from Another World from GBATemp I think).
But yes, it's great that YWG has brought the R4 back to life! Wood R4 is brilliant!

are there any versions of dragon quest ix left on the internet that work for wood r4? :'( the copy i have atm freezes after character creation or the first battle...

 

Update to Wood R4 v1.12. It can play every version of DQ IX clean perfectly.

 

Been looking around but not seen anything similar, other than for YSMenu.

Is it possible to dual-kernal between the default v1.18 firmware for the R4, and Wood R4 1.14?
i.e have both of them installed, and change between one or the other at the click of an option on the menu screen?
