Wood R4 - The New Firmware 99.8% Compatibility (CK3)

I put 1.17a12(could not find 13) in R4YSAuto and make new YSMenu.nds and TTmenu then I put in root of my R4 and played Mario... but got the error: r4patch.dat NO_BOOT_LOADER. What did I do wrong? Please show me agin thanks alot!

Thank you for all your help! I kept trying to program the r4 but whatever I try still could not play the game. I guess I have to wait until new program come out. Again thank you for all your help!

just curious, maybe you already mentioned it but cant seem to find it, what flashcart do you have?

 

I got 2 r4. One is r4ultra another is r4SDHC. The firmware I used: en v1.55 for ultra and eng v1.34 for SDHC.

 

so YSMenu had no problems running, right? like, games load and all that. the problem is the game that does not load? if its this, what game is it

It won't save on my R4 SDHC.

 

The problem from Ysmenu after I followed all step you show. I got 2 files right. I put them in my sd root and replace the file, then put r4 in ds turn on it stuck at loading... even I tried the fix files too. I have no idea how to get my r4 work.

 

did you erase your flashcart firmware? download the firmware again, it is found on your cart's box. Format your SD card. and add the Respective R4 firmware. Then add ysmenu without erasing anything

 

If it says R4 SDHC then you must follow the steps above.

If it says R4 then please run R4YSAuto (again) and now select option 1.
It will generate a _DS_MENU.dat and TTMenu. Place them both in the root of your card, overwriting all files.

 

My r4 is SDHC. I used firmware 1.25. Running R4YSAuto selected option 2,3,4 still can not play the game. I tried firmware 1.35 still same (not work). I used MicroSD 2GB(Kingston). I tried the TTMenu file already make still not work.

 

Use 1.34. It includes Pandora.

Run R4_Pandora.nds and you have a working YSMenu installation.

I have problem with the r4ultra. After I run r4ysauto, I put the TTMenu and YSMenu in root sd card. Igot result "Unsupported DLDI Name". Please teach me fix this, Thank you!

 

I don't own a R4 Ultra but from user expiriences I heard that it is a Acekard clone...

I believe there was a Acekard version of R4YSAuto. Hang on a second while I search it for you.

Try that generator with the latest package downloaded from the Yasu website.

It generates one file and one folder.

Rename akmenu4.nds to whatever.you.want.nds and leave the TTMenu folder.
Then copy them both to your micro SD card.

 

bad luck my friend! Thank you for your help but I still have same problem. On the SDHC, we can not play on 8gb microSD card, right? I tried to play "Sonic And Sega All Star Racing" on the 8GB card, and I got stuck at loading page.
