No, I do not own the firmware. It's maintained by CoolKill3r. And if I understand what you meant correctly, you can't extract a specific game fix from r4 wood and apply it to a completely different firmware. You'd have to code that specific fix into your firmware.

 

OK thanks, Yes i know but they must have put the code into there firmware, but shame they is no reverse.

I don't think they would have used a decompressed root arm9 RAM fixes like YSMenu extinfo.dat dose.

exactly what is kinetic scrolling i am not able to check it out since i got a clone but with r4 iii upgarde i can load wood r4.nds file and access the menu and load games its just i Cannot save

EDIT* I tried the woodr4[ck3].nds file its just weird everything in wood works fine (update(module,main,savesize,cheats)/crc32/kinetic scrolling) excpet it cannot play games i think ywg can make this work on r4 III upgrade its one of the only r4 clones that is very much similiar to r4 original , its quite interseting

 

it's always been able to work. i can do it easily on my r4 sdhc. i just haven't been able to load games. i will try again with different approaches, but fat chance that it'll work.

 

the .nds files are broken after being converted, this must be fixed untill then it wont work propperly on curtain flashcards.

 

how to uh... "unbrake"?

Can it be loaded as a DEFAULT.nds so that it autoloads?

 

yes. simply rename the "Wood R4.nds" file to "default.nds". It will still require your original firmware. I am working to see if I can get it to autoboot, but this is a long way off.
