I'm not sure much about the R4i-SDHC if Wood dose work for it, YSMenu is most built for it but they are diffrent types of YSMenu made for R4 clones, Maybe best to keep your original firmware for it and use the boot loader like booting a ds game, .nds files

In RGF Package should be a folder saying for R4 sdhc / R4I sdhc on it, inside will be a TTMenu folder and .nds botter file <- place them on the root of micro sd chip as is

    Find it hear http://filetrip.net/f24240-RetroGameFan-Multi-Cart-Update-6-53.html

And on your DS just boot the .nds loader , R4i clone cards are sill having an issue of errcode=-5 with certin games

I do know about R4 originals as i have one, and that package works very well!

Could you please be a bit more specific?
    1. What is your cart...write down the entire text you see on the cart's sticker/box
    2. Which wood firmware did you try, as there are many wood version in page 1
    3. What have you done so far/tested
    4. Did you use the clean/unpatched or patched rom

    Basically here are the guidelines;
    1. Make sure your cart is among the supported cart as listed in the compatible list
    2. Download the correct version
    3. Beside the firmware itself, if in the download you do not see a file named as .NDS, it means you have
to download the bootloader (Wood.NDS); also available in page 1
    4. Move the _DS_MENU.DAT you see in the downloaded wood firmware and place it in the _rpg folder
(this is to avoid you from accidentally deleting/overwriting your cart's original firmware)
    5. Copy over the _rpg folder and the Wood .NDS file into your cart's SD card (ignore the .txt files)
    6. Done.
    7. If you want to play, after switching on your cart, load the Wood.NDS first, then you choose the location
of your game rom, and then you load the game. (You can't just expect after adding Wood into your
cart, switch it on, run the game, and expect wood to take over.)

    * In some cases, you need to adjust the setting from inside the START menu in Wood.NDS, or might have
to re-format your cart, but its more likely related to adjusting the settings in the Wood's START menu.
This is especially related to the save files as wood can read both .nds.sav and .sav, so you need to
choose which save file extension to use.
    * Use pre-patched Pokemon Black and White on wood firmware

Add YSMENU for R4i SDHC (clone) as mentioned by Jhon. But if you want to also try Wood, test adding Wood for M3 listed in page 1. But chances of it working on YSMENU is higher.

Which card is mine though? This is what I have...

I don't see anything on there w/ v1.4.1 or 1.33b or even the sdhc?

Try using the Wood for R4iDSN or Wood for M3. The name of the wood firmware does not mean its only limited for a certain cart. For instance the Wood for R4 original can be use on both the R4DS (non-sdhc) original v.1.18 and the M3 Simply. If in the package you do not see a wood.NDS file with it, then go back to page 1 and download the file marked as bootloader (.NDS) for the appropriate version you want to use.

If you can't run wood firnware, then try doing this:

    Download RGF YSMENU v.6.53: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0
Use the content of the folder marked as "R4i SDHC" or the one marked as "R4i (Clone)"

The download the multi card update from RGF v.6.53: http://filetrip.net/f24240-RetroGameFan-Multi-Cart-Update-6-53.html
    Add and replace when prompted.

Run the clean/unpatched rom via YSMENU.NDS or TTMENU.NDS.

    Yup!....You're very late indeed. ;)
YWG updated his build more than 6 hours ago. He's probably living in Asia too.

I'm still waiting for the other 3 guys to upload their latest build; Gabaros, Avalondon, and Nimiso. Been waiting for hours already.

I would like to thank you for that pacakge!, They was a full OPTIONS.SYS in there, I head that this could get the full data for games with errcodes for infolib, But no one knows how to use it..., This is somethink that i am gowing to try for certin, In OPTIONS.SYS i can see the game codes when opened with a hex-editor + some slight bit of over unknown data.

Oh...didn't know it would be really useful. :p

But I'm really glad it could assist you to fork out more info about how to solve various issues related to YSMENU's error. :)

I learn something earlier today, I had already know how to make the bootloader for wood R4DS, but not for the R4iDSN. After some trial and error, I finally know how. Turn out I just needed to use the other decrypting program for the DAT file. Good thing CK3 allow me to know the basics of making it. :p

** Avalondon just uploaded his build....1 down....2 to go.

Step 3 with how to use cheat won't work for me. If I press X after I pressed Y, nothing happens. Any help? I use a DSTT card.

Have you turn 'ON' the cheat enable option from the SETTING inside the WOOD's START MENU? And do use usrcheat.dat not the cheat.dat, place it in the _rpg folder/cheat.

    Follow this:
Installing USRCheat Codes / Action Replay Codes
    [Thanks to : I am R4ymond-GBATemp.net]
    Here's How :

    This is grate stuff!, prectorian!

Cheers, But i dont see the bootloader for wood would be the same sa the YSMenu loader

    Decrypting _DS_MENU.dat is easy for WoodR4 !

    Prectorian . Staff Member

No its probably not the same. But the decrypting program was developed by someone for the R4 Original, so it could possibly have some similarities.

Sorry but i dont think it the type of loader as i thought, I mean loading of the ROM, but not loader as the firmware it's self
