I'm a bit lazy (actually alot) to read through all the pages, I want to know is there any way to completely replace the "R4 III Upgrade" firmware with the Wood firmware?

the only which Joel stated was
By Renaming the wood loader for r4sdhc( also compatible on clones) to "default.nds" (without the qoutations)
it will automatically load wood for you , but it still loads up the original frimware before doing so

So there is no actual way to replace it.
I guess my sister will have to deal with me having the "cooler" firmware.

And yes, there is no way to fully replace your firmware with Wood.

all he did was replace files nothing touched(uploaded by me)

my r4 clone is messy
and im too lazy to clean it and stuff so i cant even test it out o.o
but that person who updated it said it works fine :3

I seem to have a fake R4 from this website www.r4isdhc.com
I was told wood does not work on this card, what do you think? I've been trying so many things, plugged and unplugged the card so many times, I'm really tired and dissapointed... what is the best card to buy anyway?
