Wireless help? adhoc

    hey gius i have an xbox slim and i have and option to create an ad hoc network and i heard ad hoc is a wireless connection. i set up an ad hoc network. but it wont work.
    im using this for my ds so i can go to dream world in pokemon white. my network was found on the ds 3 bars green but it wont work (the acess point can not be reached)
    and on the xbox has no bars for the connection. please answer im not a expert in wireless stuff.

    an adhoc network is a connection between devices that does not use an access point/basestation (what most people would know as a wireless router) They are far less reliable than infrastructure network (one that uses a basestation). In your case I would guess that the DS uses a propitiatory means of forming adhoc networks and so can only be in adhoc mode with other ds consoles.
