Windows 8 rumoured to support 360 games

Back to the "Windows 8 running xbox games rumour" I am the only one that it finds it a good idea?

I mean
M$ had to release the Console way before Sony and Nintendo to make the most profit of it. (it was the First third generation console, if anyone forgot about it).
Microsoft is obviously leading in the PC and OS market. Losing market, yes, but still leading.

For Microsoft itself, this would be a interesting strategy. For the company, they don't need to waste time in the console wars, since even though Xbox360 did a incredible job (LETS FACE IT, Nintendo and Sony are years on it, I am surprised the Microsoft actually could survive all those years with a good result) and they mix what the Xbox360 gamer wants the most. High end Graphics, which a console that freezes on time will never be able to have.

This is also good news for the PC gaming. That seens to get less attention than the consoles.


I strange, yet innovative idea from Microsoft. In their own way obviously, but still interesting.

Won't take much to create a Windows "8" "GoPro" Version that also works as a console and a gaming OS. M$ can easily support both worlds.
And don't come with that "no way I will pay it face". There are tons of people paying WAY more than that in hardware, for these people a full fledged gaming OS is just a different investment.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts was a fun game. It's one of those games where there is no incorrect solution. I picked up a whale and jammed it in between a few gears which jammed all of the other gears which was interesting. In most other games you can't interact with the background.

 

It's criminally underrated.

 

I have to agree. Nuts N Bolts is amazing. I hope I can play it on my bros quadcore instead of a threesixty.

 

I found building flying penises and such fun but I thought the rest of the game was a bit ...childish. Some more weapons would have been nice too.

on topic: i think it's just a rumor. Even Microsoft know that doing this will just make pirating their games easier.

And Loony, why such a grudge against the xbox? it's not as bad as you're making it out to be.

 

I think it's criminally overrated

 

I don't see a problem with this. The best parts of the game were when you think outside of the box, I would come up with some examples but it's been so long since I've played the game. It was quite good, had good dialogue, and I loved the art style, definately one of the best graphics I've seen on the Xbox too.

TL;DR: dialogue isn't that good. or at least Gruntilda'a dialogue

 

In the context of Banjo, that's good dialogue.

Have you ever played Banjo previously? Gruntilda's dialogue is always that cheeseball.

look all I'm saying is it isn't great dialogue. The only great thing about the game imo is crafting vehicles.

 

You're the reason every video game audio is just black marines shouting shit about frag grenades and dying. Gruntilda is the shit and I appreciate their direction in conversation. If the dialogue was bland and didactic it would harm Banjo's jazz.

But I haven't actually played Nuts n Bolts.
