Will hacking my wii effect netflix streaming if banned?

I don't know anyone else like myself unfortunately...

It's like a brick...useless.
You can only unbrick a Wii if you have BootMii as boot2 or if it's a banner-brick, then you need Priiloader. If you don't have either and your Wii is soft-modded, then you aren't too smart...

If you don't have BootMii as boot2, then you're screwed. I am, but I don't do stupid shit to my Wii.

 

well the term brick... what can you do with a wii?? use it as a paper holder maybe yes, you might even be able to throw it. If you brick your wii its pratically as usefull as a...brick.
And yes you can unbrick it depending on what files you have.

 

SO more problems... I got someone to hack my wii for me becuase I didn't want to deal with it.

NOW, the BootMii menu loads at start up and won't go to system menu without manually selecting it.

The guy seems legit, but
1. I have read that you can change the "boot delay" to '0' ---- How do I do THAT?
2. It is apparently running BootMii v1.1
3. I'm pretty sure he downgraded my wii to 4.2

Hmm...I don't know the exact problem. I don't know what to tell you...I don't trust anyone but myself working on Wiis.

You should try changing the boot order if that's possible.

 

I keep hearing that but I tried to find how to do that, and I can't. I'm assuming it's in the priiloader.

I'm scared to click on the priiloader buttom from the HBC because I heard that you could screw things up. I don't know.

 

Oh, so you do have Priiloader?

Just hold down the reset button while powering up your Wii.
Then, once Priiloader comes up, go to settings and change the first option (Autoboot) to Wii system menu.
Then, scroll to the bottom and hit Save Settings and exit by hitting B and go to the Wii System Menu. and you're done!

 

If you somehow do get blocked off download DOS-Mii and run it on the Homebrew Channel, it'll allow you to access wii shop and other stuff without updating your wii, keeping it hacked. Wii WAD manager will let you get channels anyways, even if you are blocked.

 

You'll have to update the channels to access the shop channel no matter what.
There's no other way unless you want to do a system update.
