Well, here is my take on it:

I don't think the Wii is in trouble particularly. In all honesty, the Wii has made a name for itself as a cheap, fun and accessible console among families. I'm not saying this is the truth universally, but people I know look at the PS3 and 360 as 'hardcore gaming' consoles. Slapping some motion sensor controllers on there isn't really going to entice the masses.
You also have to take into consideration the price difference. Wii is still the cheapest (here in the UK, anyway). The 360 and PS3 may be dropping in price, but people who are new to gaming are going to go to the Wii first, due to the reputation it has, and it's price in comparison.

This is really only my opinion, but I don't see much trouble for the Wii. Nintendo-bashing is getting tiring; it's just another company trying to make money, just like Sony and Microsoft... Give it a rest?
I own all three, so I'm trying not to be biased. Each console has it's own merits, each console could be 'bashed' in it's own way. I just think that people who instantly jump into threads such as these and say 'WOAH, YOU'RE A NINTENDO FANBOY' have to reconsider why they're actually doing it. If that person is a Nintendo fanboy in your eyes, does that make you a PS3 or 360 fanboy in their eyes?

Anyway, I think I've ranted enough. Cookies if you actually bothered to read all this XD.

People aren't just jumping in and shouting fanboy. My comment was made based on Ultra's last 20 threads which have all been attempting to talk down the other consoles and pushing the wii with no justification (either at all or no impartial justification) provided for any arguments and making stupid comments such as 'the wii is destroying the other consoles'. He also ignores counter arguments that contradict what he says. In other words, he's a fanboy.

Whoops, I'm sorry ^_^". I guess I didn't make what I was trying to say clear. I meant just in general; I'd gone into a rant about Nintendo bashing.
Also, I should have checked out his last 20 posts before making that statement anyway. I agree that even if you like a console so much, you shouldn't go around trying to make out it is destroying other consoles. That just makes you as bad as those people who just spam posts flaming Nintendo.

I'm not here to make enemies, anyway. Thanks for the input, I should have considered what I typing before I typed it ^_^".

If your talking about Ultra...then yes.

He seems to be a confused fanboy, confused because downloading roms hurts nintendo XD

I know..I was like him once...now I just admire nintendo and have an un-modded wii.

Everything else is up for grabs.

    Anyway...these threads are annoying!

The problem never discussed is the price point for the consoles + accessories. The 360 is already using a massive amount of it's CPU processing power. With the natal attached, I could see some serious red ring problems in the future. PS3's wand is a little more promising only because it's a copy of the wii remote but I see no analog stick WTF. The wii will still be the cheaper system but not enough wii motion plus compatible games are being made... not to mention, most 3rd party games suck for no good reason. Everybody's screwing up in my opinion.

actually, the wad thingy for the ps3 does have a anolog... i saw it on a preview when this dude was playing resident evil 5...ha.
since there are so many fan boys, who wants to heat the story of how nintendo abandoned one of its biggest fans/...

well nintendo has always beated 360 and ps3 on sales. in order to nintendo to beat again ps3 and 360 with motion controllers is to make a new console with more motion and graphical power...

how is making a more powerful product going to make things better?
the answer is not to make things more powerful. the answer is to make a new innovation where it offers something new for the players.

if you look at the wii remote itself, it offered basic motion controlls. but when you add the motion plus, the environment of play changes for the player. this upgrade is cheaper and more convenient then upgrading the whole system.

graphics doesn't matter so it wouldn't matter because it's what the software that accommodates the hardware. wii sports is a simple game with simple graphics, yet it is so great because of how well the software is implemented with the wii remote. this also goes true with wii sports resort.

in other words, it isn't about the power of the console it's about what new innovation you can bring to the table that will make the sales. the only company able to do this is nintendo. so if sony and microsoft has motion controls then that's fine. nintendo will simply release a new peripheral and it'll kill the competition.

microsoft and sony doesn't have a chance because neither of them have hardware and software integration like nintendo. this integration is very helpful for creating new innovations as one is able to make new hardware and the software team is able to understand how to work with the hardware. this condition doesn't exist in sony nor microsoft.

ask yourself, if microsoft and microsoft had released a motion controller before nintendo, would they have made a game like wii sports or wii sports resort? the answer is no.

Yes and yes. You are ignoring the eye toy, because it was made by a rival to your precious nintendo, and it came before nintendo. As usual.
