    too bad NaOH doesn't "burn," that's an acidic property.

    but God, how the hell did you get NaOH into your mouth?
    I'd rather get hit with HCl or something similar because you'll know right away when it hits, rather than the basic solutions that you won't know until 10 minutes later, unless you taste it.

    yeah, my teacher said it was NaOH, but after i tasted it(yes, i put it in my mouth. stupid,really), she said it was caustic soda
