Why English people don't get Dutch jokes and visa versa

    the one of the apple in the hands that I posted before as an History:
    I'm Italian
    some years ago I was at school and in our English lesson our teacher show us a videotape in English
    not subtitled
    in this videotape
    there was a classroom and a funny teacher
    here I listen the apple joke
    ...
    I think I laugh not for the joke,
    but because I was the only in the class
    to understand it
    :)

    The more drink, the more toilet

    (When drunk, you will see more toilets

    A typical English joke is either witty, racist, or a joke about farts.

    I honestly don't know of 'English jokes'. Most jokes around me, and between people I know, are situational and contain dry wit.
    I've never liked 'Jokes' anyway. Like Englishman, Irishman etc.
