Why do people hate Mario (the game character ofcourse)

How is it Idiotic ? Dragon ball Somthing (Snes) came out showing Goku and Gohan in SuperSayain Transformations, The name of the charecter Simply stated Goku SSJ. Sonic games Didnt have sonic before transforming into an SSJ Charecter untill the Ps2 age i believe. So tell me How is it Ediotic ? i would say something about the "Baseless" Part but i dont realy understand what it means. and to top it off with a sour cherry. Sonic games are copying Mario games now (I need to edit my other post now i rememberd thes This is long) Sonic tennis i believe ANDD !!!! Copying Rockstar games GTA. Shadow The Heghog says it all.

I think we hate mario because he is way overused.

I know it's impossible to make a mario game without mario in it and call it a mario game so in order for a game to be successful without mario, they need to come up with a new IP, which nintendo will never do.

 

Well Nintendo are going to make some new core games eventually, but yes he's a popular gaming icon, so he is overused.

McDonald's Ronald McDonald & KFC's Colonel are also overused icons but no one hates them. Then why is Mario hated?
