No. Not really...I just don't have the proper computer to flash my drive with, else I'd be rolling in 360 games.
I just ordered myself a new Ben Q drive, and am going to be flashing mine soon using Jungle Flasher *So excited Although, not playing on xbox live kinda sucks
I got mine mainly because it has the Jtag mod and thus I can download 360,XBOX Live Arcade, and DLC for free, plus it will play any XBOX titles regardless if its backwards compatible or not plus it has a kinds of emulators which I don't really fool with as just about everything I have can emulate on as well.
i got it because i like how the controller fits on the hands, and the ps3 and xbox have similar games, except some games only for xbox which i really wanted to play, like halo, gears of war, fable, and others
I got an Xbox 360 because PS3 was really lame back then. The controller looked retarded(PS3) and i wanted Halo.
People often assume, once they flash their drives of mod their box they'll automatically be banned from XBL. That's not true. You'll be able to play on live without being banned yes. But once you do that MS records a lot of the 360's innards and stuff into their servers so they know who to ban when they get around to it. Earlier this year MS went on a banning spree for people with modded boxes (they tracked this by drive firmwares, different voltages etc), that's when the modders got banned. That being said, the people with flashed/modded boxes will be banned, eventually, just not right away.
Mine is banned, but I really don't care as I have no need of getting on Live. I don't play multiplayer in the first place and I have other sources for my XBLA games and DLC.
I got a flashed Xbox and I never knew that I could go on XBox Live. Time for an ethernet cable and XBox Live Gold. :] Wireless Adapters are overpriced.
I was one of the lucky ones to get the Black Xbox360. Cost me a bit more than what I would have paid for a console but it was worth it since I'm into sports games and the 360 has the best selections.
You won't last an hour or two I really wouldn't waste your money for the account once banned its a bitch to unlock it and still its a waste of time as you will just be banned again.
My friend told me the same thing.. It really sucks.. I didn't buy anything yet though. But the $4 games are killer. New 360 games are about $7. And I just read what Natewlie wrote. I didn't pay much attention to it earlier. Thanks for telling me though. I should invest in a PS3. The slim one looks nice.
