You might think it's funny, I know I sure thought it was funny at first, in fact I thought it was a joke or just flamebait.

But he's taken the same illogical stance on everything and I'm inclined to believe he actually believes in it.

Kinda like how databank saw no use ever out of a cell phone. But that's a whole other topic.

If you didn't understand what he said, then I lose all faith in humanity. You're bending his ideas so you have a basis of argument, which in fact is the opposite, there is no basis of the argument because you've made it up. You're arguing with your own ideas.

 

I think we can all agree on a few things

The Wii sucks because Nintendo made it and it can't cook bacon
The PS3 sucks because Sony made it and it cannot grill steaks
The 360 sucks because Microsoft made it and it cannot microwave food

notice how it is for sure that if you have a 360/wii, you're definitely going to spend a lot of money as nintendo and microsoft earns good money from the sales of hardware. to earn good money means it's expensive.

but when he mentions ps3, he softens and says, you save more money and it's very good if you buy a ps3 as opposed to 360/wii because sony doesn't make you spend all this money because they don't earn that much money from it.

All he meant was how there's little accessories with Sony, so they can't make as much money as MS and Nintendo does (he does NOT say that it's because they're not greedy). Then he said that they make most of their profits of off software and PSN.

I was not saying that every piece of hardware is compatible with the PS3, only that, as Natewlie said, that only the PS3 controllers and the Bluetooth remote do not have any other options for peripherals when buying them (although you can get third party controllers that aren't six axis, but I digress). I was pointing out that the Wii has countless peripherals, many of which are rip offs (the attachments for the wiimotes springs to mind). The 360 has locked down its console so that you have to buy MS brand stuff, this means they charge a hefty premium on the products. Check the price difference between a laptop HDD and an official 360 HDD of the same size and you'll see what I mean.

Maybe I am a PS3 fanboy, I don't know or care (it's not relevant to the facts), but it seems to me that Sony have made the most effort making their console good value to the consumers. Is this because Sony are philanthropists? I doubt it, more likely they wanted to make thier console as appealing as possible in order to launch their blu ray format and their new Cell Processor.

I don't like the PS series because it almost only brings out fighting games...

 

If my fighting games you mean the likes of Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc. Then that's more Nintendo's domain. Before this generation, PS games were mostly RPGs.

 

Xbox has much better games than ps3 and most of the ps exclusive games are coming to xbox such as Metal gear solid and final fantasy while we still got lots of xbox exclusive games such as halo ,forza and gears of war

 

Because a certain Xbox/Ps3 owner I know is a dick and a lot of Xbox/Ps3 owners hate on the Wii so I hate on them and their consoles XD
