I'm taking Elementary Japanese 2 at my College. I learned Hiragana first, so Katakana and Kanji are a little tough for me. I'm better at listening to japanese dialogue than I am at reading it. Though I did have a bit of a fangasm when I bought an import of Dissidia and was able to spell out and read some of the katakana.
I Know My Hiragana+ Katakana And I'm Learning Kanji. Dont Learn Jap By Watching Anime. You Can Get Some Pronounciations Wrong. Plus Its All In Modern Slang. Theres An Anime Otaku In Our Class. Shes Really Bad At Japanese. Maybe Cause Shes A Narutard.
My Japanese Coach is good if you already know japanese because it more like a improver not a teacher. learning japanese from My Japanese Coach is stupid. might as well learn japanese from a japanese magazine.
Studying Japanese formally is still the way to go~ Though it ain't so bad to learn from J-doramas or anime. Just to be familiar with modern slang. You don't want to sound too formal~! I personally can't read Japanese. I just know some phrases. >.< Wish I did tho~ but my mom wants me to learn Mandarin instead. Pfft~
I did a year of Japanese, basically learnt "the kana" and a few sentences >.< I might take it up again in the future though Nihongo ga suki desu to help clarify some peoples boggles No he can't No, they're in Spanish -.- Don't use capitals at the start of every word, It Makes You Look Very Bloody Stupid! And just cos someone loves Anime it does NOT mean they're going to know Japanese.
He's a 'handheld gamer'. You're only a 'casual gamer'. I think he wins. BAHAHAH ãã¿ã®çЬãŒã¨ã¦ã‚‚ãŠã„ã—ã‹ã£ãŸã よ。
Those "ranks" don't mean squat here, the only ones with Seniorities here are the Admins, Global moderators & moderators.
Well I don't appreciate being singled out as one you know I want everyone to remember me as Mr. Forum Games, Jokes & Random Stuff guy since that's where I spend most of my time being silly with everyone who goes there as well
Ill always remember you as "the guy with the green sword in his avvie that replied to my intro topic" and we're getting OT
……気æŒã¡æ‚ªã„ã§ã™ã… (p.s; the 「ã よ〠doesn't belong there) If you really want to learn japanese to play games, i think about 2 or 3 years of japanese would be sufficient I kind of agree with Born2killx, learning Japanese purely through watching anime and j-dramas is moronic, many use kansai-ben, and i noticed that people tend to pick up idiotic phrases. Plus, you don't actually learn about sentence structure, grammar, the use of particles, verb conjugations etc. revising/practicing japanese with the help of anime and j-dramas could be useful though ... p.s; I think "watakushi" would be used in more formal situations
