In terms of accuracy: Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji
In terms of witchcraft/wizardry: Louise from Zero no Tsukaima
In terms of spiritual magistry: Fin Cruda from Rental Magica
In terms of 'Shinigami-ism' : Ichigo,Zaraki and Aizen from Bleach

Technically Speaking, Anime is short for Animation. in Japan cartoon is refer as Animation or animated and later it is shorted as anime and Manga mean comic book in japanese.

so as anime goes Superman TAS counted as anime and Justice League of America counted as manga.

 

For the rest of the world, the word "Anime" became a label for cartoons that came from Japan. But later still it became a term that refers to a style in drawing, hence Anime-stylized.

So just like what Cal said, Superman can be considered as an Anime or manga, if you refer to the comic books. A very disgusting proof that an American cartoon icon can be considered an anime is that uber stupidly lame Japanese Spiderman

On the subject of SSJ4 anyone beign able to destroy the planet...most of the characters are that strong, the novelty wore off really quickly. Ichigo hollow mode was beast, ichigo with mask is even more so
