Definitely Soulja boy, the worst rapper of all time.

 

Not into rap music, but P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Diddy/whatever the f**k his name is now just really, really annoys me.

 

I hate 'Snoop.dogg'! How dare that freak relate himself to dogs, i've heard dogs howl better tunes than he talks about with repetitive dud dud dud in the background

 

ya i never really liked him much even back in the day. but nonetheless he does have a cult like following so he cant be the worst out there

 

Popularity doesn't dictate quality.

 

how can you say that when it comes to music? defining good music is extremely subjective in itself and when dealing with something this subjective popularity does dictate quite a bit.......assumption by fiat( i think thats what it is called havent debated in over a year)

 

Apparently a lot people have really poor taste in "music". Just because you can appeal to someone's likes doesn't make you great. It just makes you clever. And the last time I checked, clever didn't = quality.

I agree with apophos... popularity does not dictate the quality at all. Just look at Soulja Boy. All these mindless teenagers love his dumb music and dance that makes themselves look retarded. He's popular, but is he any good?

Lil Wayne, and all these newer 'rap' (are they even rap?) celebrities (soulja boy included) all make similar music with similar lyrics (clubs, money, cars, girls). They all suck.

 

This is very true. Talent does not equal popularity. I know tons of great artists that are unsigned and are a lot better than majority of popular artists.

 

Thanks for the fucking generalization. Before it went mainstream, the lyrics and the beats were actually meaningful. Those were the days when they _REALLY WERE_ living in shit conditions. I could care less about today's million-dollar "rappers", but please don't make blanket statements such as "Genre music ___ sucks"

That's my opinion. If it bothers you so much then don't let it. I won't stop saying it just because you don't like it. Rap does suck, all rappers suck and make very shit music. Just cause I don't like it doesn't mean it's bad. To me it's horrid and this topic asks who you think is the worst, and to me they are all shit. So deal.
