I don't take it as hostile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

    :>

I don't take posts as hostile unless I'm in a bad mood. You actually caught me in a great mood as I played The Beatles Rock Band and my husband is getting another week off from work. I always try to make people's posts sound neutral, depending on the type of words the person uses, I assume their mood and tone, and it's usually right. My drama class taught me tone well.

I'm glad things don't work out like the movies, if it did, life would be too predictable. Unless they make my life into a movie.

Having a girlfriend isn't important, having friends who can back you up, and a nice family is a lot more important. Like I said if you want one, don't look. When I found my husband, I was looking for a boyfriend prior to him, then I gave up, then he came into my life. NEAT.

This topic is somewhat MEH because having a girlfriend or a boyfriend shouldn't be anything to brag about.

Also if a girl's really into you, she won't ask for a lot money and materialistic wise. My husband was POOR when we were dating in our teen years. I paid for a bit and he paid what he could on our dates. Relationships are about sharing, not about just taking. Customs differ from place to place but I like sharing.

Yeah, everyone wants someone to share experiences with. There's friends and family for that too.

If you stop worrying about it and stop chasing it, a girl will pop up by chance. It's weird how the world works like that but it does. I don't know a lot of people who met their spouse on purpose.

So it's like toast, you watch it cook for ages and nothing happens, then you turn around to get some juice and it pops up with a satisfying -ding-

why does everything I say relate to food?..

Well, that's how a relationship should function, I assume so. I know every girl isn't like me, I don't see love in materials. I see love in the person, I don't care what my man gets me, it's just whatever he thinks I care about. Sharing is a HUUUUGE part of living with your partner, it was simple for my hubby and me because we shared everything beforehand anyways.

I mean the engagement ring my husband gave me was cheaaap (I asked him how much it was, he won't tell me but I think it's similar to those 25 cent ones, I don't know though), I didn't care, I though the gesture was romantic, cute and amazing.

The only person I think is hostile is Databank. Soooo yeah. :p I'm nice I guess. I don't know.

Exactly, I would've used a boiling water metaphor but that works too.

Gogogo, if not for a girl (I don't think you'd want a girl you meet at a club), go for the experience and socialite activityyyy.

Maybe not cut off the ear ^_^

But have a laugh with some people. If I lived nearby I'd drag you out .:)

    Witty? My god...

Databank, LMFAO, I've heard of them but that really did make me laugh.

If you decide to go to a club/lounge/bar go with someone, for the love of god.

Going alone usually means some kind of trouble. If going for the first time, go to a lounge, it's a lot less hectic.

I know some people oppose drinking alcohol, but it's usually not a bad thing if you can handle it. By no means it tastes any good. But given to a shy person, it encourages opening up and coming out of their shell. As long as you can handle how much you drink. It's really hard as at one point it tastes like water.

...then I'd need mates who don't just bum around at another's house or go to the movies and then run home because it's past thier "bed time" despite being a year or more older than me...

Old job gave me such a chance-but I'm out of the "click" after I quit-and new one I can't relate to them at all-and see no point in starting conversation...

Oh well-prehaps I'll get lucky like homer-who honestly knows-certainly not me XD

    My-what a nice offer :)

..the ear thing didn't work-turns out it's the drum...maybe I should pull my finger out before

It's a lot better like this. This is the reason why the rule of why going somewhat off topic sucks. Because sometimes it makes for more constructive posting.

    Bed.. time?

You'll get lucky. Chances are you will.
