Which Squaresoft/enix game is the best?

    I never liked Final Fantasy games, except for the seventh, but it's far from my favourite Square Enix RPG. My favourite would have to be Dragon Quest 8; it has everything to be an epic game.

    And it is in my opinion. Also, I like most of the Dragon Quest games (both the old and newer ones), and Star Ocean too (not as much as DQ though).

    I love all the DQ games, one in particular is the only one i dislike (Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime)

    Other than that, DQ all the way for me! And some FF games :D
    (I think DQ VII for the PS1 was great! And DQ8 for he PS2 was great too! What made me really interested in the series was DQ5 for the SNES. That sealed the deal for me.)

    I can't believe I'm saying this, but I honestly haven't really played that many Squaresoft/enix games. Don't get me wrong I'm a devoted fan, but (my darkest secret right here) i used to think that games like that were stupid. But I digress, my order would have to be FFX (since I've played that most of the way through) Chrono Trigger, and a close tie between FFXII and FFVI
    now excuse me while i go wash my mouth out with soap.

    Dont worry Fearon, we wont be mad at you :p

    You should try out DQ if you like FF... I heard of FF in the olden days and i was searching it up and came across Square Enix's other game, Dragon Warrior/Quest, and gave it a try. Now, Im more of a DQ fan than a FF fan.

    The whole of the FF Franchise and also the game " The World Ends With You " "Subarashiki Kono Sekai".

    The world ends with you is one of the better games to come out in recent history, but the oldies from the snes days like secret of mana and illusion of time are some of my all time favourites, and FF 7 for being the first FF game I ever played it has some special memories for me.

    FF7 and DQ8 are both great RPGs. Parasite Eve 2 will always have a special place for me.
