final fantasy i like final fantasy but i love the other two more

 

Why would anyone want to kill production/help in any of these titles?

And about SMB...they only helped in Super mario rpg if I remember correctly.

 

square is one of the few game developers that still produce anything decent.

My answer is none.

 

id say none too..

but if someone would twist my arm or threaten my life lol, i would have to say the Mana Series.. the newer installments have been becoming more and more stale with each new game, id say unless they can revive what the Mana series used to be, then just stop altogether while it still has some dignity left ^_^

Why get rid of any they're all good.

 

No, they are not all good. The last KH game (the one on the DS) was the biggest disappointment on the planet. The only way I could see it being fun for anybody is if they were such a fan of the series that they had lost all ability to discern a good game from a bad one when concerning that series. The one on the GBA, although fun for a play through, you realize it is pretty much the same thing over and over again for about 4 or 5 hours of game.

Where to start with FF.......

FF7 has been sucked dry. Realizing it is the most popular FF game, Square Enix (by the way, it was better when it was just Square Soft) has released Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus (I'm sorry for mentioning it), Crisis Core, released it on the PSN, and now I'm still not 100% if it is confirmed, but they are seriously considering remaking the game for the PS3. That is just one reason why FF needs to roll over and die. The other reasons include, but aren't limited to:

- FF XII
- FF X-2
- FF 4 (you can only release one game so many times)
- FF XI

Pretty much everything past 10 has been nothing but a major disappointment (although I have yet to play 13). It has strayed so far from what made the series fun, it's ridiculous. I can't see how anybody who could sit there and play all the other games before it and enjoy them, could play 12 and somehow find that fun. They somehow made leveling more tedious and time consuming than it already is, and then there is the obnoxious license system. Of course, then there are the game breaking gambits that can just let you watch big boss fights as long as you set up your gambits properly.

This isn't a thread about the failure known as FF12 though. I personally think SSB has done a great job at what it does. Each game the adventure and challenge modes become more fleshed out, characters become more unique to one and other, and SSB continues to be my favorite series of fighting games. They have yet to make a giant fail (probably because Square Enix plays such a small part), so over all, this is the last series that deserves the axe.

That should hold no bearing on the creation of a non-repetitive worthwhile game. Are you telling me that because it is a DS, they simply get to stop trying in terms of game play? The actual fighting was fine, pretty much perfectly like the PS2 controls. What was stopping them from making the game as good as the PS2 games? I see no excuse for the failure that was made.

 

Since when does Square Enix help make Mario games?
I wouldn't get rid of any of their series entirely, but purging the Final Fantasy brand of lazy spin-offs such as that terrible chocobo game for the Wii would be good for all humanity IMAO.

Yup. I spent all my times playing FF, from 1-10, it's still decent. But X-2 and FF12 are very bad. I dont like it at all.

 

If I'm not mistaken, the only Mario game Square Enix has had a role in was Super Mario RPG, which is an incredible game that came out on the SNES. I feel the bottom option wasn't even properly researched and shouldn't be up there under the subject of which Square Enix series needs to die.

out of all them i would like to see tombraider gone.
