My point is not that sword is better than the pen, it is that they're equally important in todays world. And the pen can have a hard time doing anything positive without the sword.

it is of course, but is wasted protecting other swords, it really needs a pen to protect

Did you guys notice that because of your non sensical arguments this topic has been demoted to a non serious thread, thus being sent to the games, jokes & random stuff section?

Anyway, we're not talking about "real pens & swords" here, we're talking about pens -> brains & swords -> brawns

i'd normally say the pen - but a prime example of this failing was when mr chamberlain stepped off a plane waving a piece of paper and saying "peace for our time".

the next day hitler invaded poland.

that was deliberate.... it was the start of the phoney war, six months at the start of WWII when there was no actual fighting. Chamberlain used that period to build up our armed forces in preparation because the knew Hitler would not keep his promise. That was not the pen failing, it was strategy used to best effect, and the six months of building our forces helped us win the war, particularly with regard to the royal air force.

if Pen is mightier then sword, then why people offen use sword to solve most of the problem instead of pen?
