I think pen is mightier because it shows different personalities unlike the sword who only convey the will to kill

 

and to protect and not all intelligent person beat mighty person

 

I'll take a spartan army as an example.......... in the movie 300 the use of phalanx which require dicipline and intelligence by the spartans proved to be useful in decreasing the army of persia who just attack and attack

 

but the spartan wont decrease the persia if there not might enough and when the oracle said that they will not win they still fight cause that there might and when mind is use they will flee and abort the attack and dont decrease the persia

 

the 300 spartans lost because the spartan council did not use their minds and did not send reinforcements but when they decided to send it was too late

 

but they already know they'd lose then why not use minds and help to the council early?

 

that's not what roruni kenshin preaches XD

 

kenshin has a blunt edged sword

ratio of kenshin to those who use sharp swords = 1:1,000,000,000+

while worthwhile reading books are alot more than writings who denote evil intentions

so the sword which is always attatched to violence cannot outwit the pen who can write your fantasies and dreams as you wish and this gives you happiness unlike the sword which gives you guilt after using it

 

and you can use the sword to write with blood or ink as well

anyway calligraphy and swordsmanship are related in china so they are equal and compliment each other
