w7 is an upgrade of xp, it can do anything xp did, with the looks of vista. I recently played prince of persia and fallout 1, 2 on 7, with no problems

they run perfect, once in a while, you see, an off color, but or like less then a second, it doesnt affect gameplay in anyway

im using w7 professional. but you cant play the game right away, just in case, you have to right click, and then i believe it was, change compatibility, or something like that, and then click on what settings you want, you can choose, windows xp sttings for the game, and runs as in xp. you only have to do this once for each game

i absolutely love Win 7 because its :

    1. fast

    2. simple

    3. looks great

    hate it because:

    1. i blue screen, and reinstall windows once a week.

    2. uses up to much of my 32 GB RAM....

    3. to Damn glitchy...

    4. i absolutely hate UAC....

    5. it has to ask me before i install anything! :(

    6. it plain out sucks, gonna install Linux, much better OS. :)

looks like i just hate windows... :)

this can be part your computer and part windows 7, becuase windows 7 requires better computer specs to run then xp

plus, DOS games have trouble running on multiple processors/cores, so you gotta set it to use 1 processor/core.....

I cant get any to work in any compatability setting, tried them all umpteen times. the only way is dosbox or xp.
Google says the only way is dosbox because windows 7 lacks full dos support or something.
