DSiWare always was little. I don't see Nintendo making any more of these games though.

3DS is being released next year... don't spent money now. maybe you can buy some original games too.


Besides if you really want one now, goes for the cheaper.
An used DS lite in good state is more than enough until 3DS is released. Save a few bucks.


and Yes, DSi is a waste of money.
If you remove all extra features.. is the same as the classical DS and the lite. Just a bigger screen that you won't probably ever notice.

I recommend the DS Lite, It comes in a lot more colors than the DSi, and is a little more flashy looking imo.

 

I'd say wait for the 3DS, but if it bombs with lack of software, etc, get a cheap DS phat, the d-pad and buttons AWFUL on lites.

 

No. I've used both, and I enjoy my Lite a heck of a lot more then the Phat.

GET THE LITE. NO PHAT!

 

It's all personal opinion. Don't tell him to get one or the other just for the D-Pad.
I hate the Lite's D-Pad personally.

 

And I enjoy my DSi FAR over my DS lite and DS phat. The buttons are just so smooth....I could press them all day
