I'm sure you're right. I speak in broad and offending generalizations. There's still good music and movies too.
The iPad has some intresting games but eg emulating a game on touchscreen is weird is no much fun for me. I love buttons.
In terms of gaming, I would still go for the PS3 and Xbox360 anytime of the day because Ipads or any android tablets, they are meant solely for casual gaming and they can't deliver the "oomph" when it comes to hardcore gaming. Let's face it, consoles look and play better on the big screen with the right controllers. Controls on touch screen are weird and out of sync and doesn't navigate properly. Although I personally love Angry Birds, I will still choose consoles...they are meant for gaming!
