I'll be honest, why even ask such a question, just because it can run games with decent graphics doesn't mean the ipad is a gaming machine, it's apple, it's crap.

Now for my honest choice...my SNES

Well, I had a Genesis as a kid, and I never had money to buy one. I am collecting old consoles, so I thought I'd buy it with my tax return.

 

I was about 16 when I got mine and by then it was outdated...

Got it cheap, mother's friend trying to make space, $99 aud with mortal kombat 1 and super mario kart.

And I didn't have to pay

 

i love playing old snes games with my scds2 emulator

 

I love playing SNES games on my SNES.

I like emulation, but to a point. For me, it's the original console to play it on.

well it depends on the phone but a ipad can make phone calls i think it has heaps of epic games and has a much better internet browser than all phones i know of
but a console like ps2/3 and xbox 360 own

 

a toaster is better than an ipad...

iPad or other apple products wont even work here in finland on the part where I live as they break because they cant even last like -10*C while we now had a winter with over -30*C =P so but DS works fine on such colds for example

 

Which is oversaid. You can use their products fine, however they may be crappy at some parts.

They don't need stupid game cards for example to run software...

 

Every other device in the Console series needs game cards or CDs. Both (virtual and actual media) have it's up and downsides though.
