I use a cool version of chrome called rockmelt, hooks up to your facebook and all, so you dont even need to go on the website, bit busy though. You need an invite to get it, which sucks. I has some, if anyone is interested.

You can also set up twitter and stuff, but if you dont have networking accounts, its like chrome. I think you can also set it up to romulation as well.

You can't connect directly to the SMF software.

Yea, i just learnt that then. Doesnt hook up right to romulation, but does everything else fine, from what ive checked, works quite fast as well.

I have rockmelt as well. I find it quite nice ^-^

    RomUlation is powered by SMF.

If you try to connect to my forum, it also fails (because it is powered by SMF).

Rockmelt isn't that bad, it's chrome with just facebook, twitter and stuff. I only use it when i want to talk to my friends while browsing instead of clicking the tab. I use chrome as my main.

Really? I thought you were technical, but guess I was wrong. Those are layout engines, they are a crucial part of a browser but alone they are worthless. And you forgot about khtml, which is what Apple took and made WebKit from, but it is still being developed by KDE.

As far as browsers go I mostly only use my own homemade browser, it has all the features I normally use and far less bloated then e.g. Firefox.

A browser is a rendering engine wrapped in an application. It is the rendering engine that determines the base feature set.

True but a rendering(or layout if you wish) engine by it self is as useful as a lib you don't use because that is just what it is. That argument is kinda like saying that PyGames is really a game. It has all the bindings used in a game but its hardly usable to an end user until someone has done something with it.

    edit: typo

Chrome, because it's fast, stable and very easy.
