? Downloads always stop when you close the browser..?

It's just that you must see the features of the browser.

Downloads stop when you close Firefox? What? Never had that happen before. Even if you close the download manager, it shouldn't stop.

I like Opera. Though, maybe I'll try Google Chrome some time.

I love how right now, Firefox and Chrome have an equal number of votes. (Go Chrome!)

Also, moved to Computers & Modding.

I went from IE to FF, and at first I was a bit..well, lost since I didn't know much about it. But now I'm loving it. Firefox FTW.

I like opera best, but firefox beats it by an inch. Lots of useful add-ons and awesome themes(TwentyTen ftw!!!)
chrome is faster but the add-ons slow it down noticeably... the place where an ad appears on youtube is a big white space for a couple of seconds on chrome.

Chrome. Because It's faster than all other browsers for me. And it's very Slim.

FF: Hates me alot. Because it takes literally 3 minutes for initial start-up.
    IE: Sucks alot.
    Opera: NA.
Safari: It's about the same speed as IE.

I was going to try chrome, but when I installed it, it corrupted some of my Windows files, and I had to fix windows through the repair console...
I'm using Firefox now, but I'm downloading AOL Desktop as well

wow i cant believe internet explorer is so poorly rated, ive been using it since 1997 with no problems apart from the occasional crash which is very rare.
i admit im no computer whizz but i cant see a problem with it really.
    i found this on wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers
58% use internet explorer. A lot of these will just be the occasional computer user that just uses the built in software though

    IE is crap.

    Like it gives this error:
"The window is busy. If you close this window now, Internet Explorer may have problems."
    (Translated with Google Translator)
The window is always busy, but you always must be able to close it.

    Firefox.
Even though you say you hate Internet Explorer, you are still using it on your Windows computer. Even if you never open up the program.

Chrome takes up more memory than Firefox so that's a no for me.
    Same goes for Opera.

512MB of RAM, you have to ration out your memory ;)

I tend to use Firefox, mostly because I've got everything set up just the way I like it, along with my bookmarks and loads and loads of saved passwords. I've tried moving over to a webkit based browser, as Gecko is kind of slow at times, but since I can't import my saved passwords into any other web browser than Firefox, I can't do it. It's too bad, because Epiphany is shaping up to be a really good browser.

That's because you're not a web designer. I've been working in web design and development on and off for a few years, and IE is the bane of my existence. If I didn't have to design for any version of IE, that cuts my development time down by half - easily.

I develop sites (take a look at FlippiE MP3) and never had any problem with Opera...

    THIS is webdesign: Here

Took me a few days to create the design, content was done in 2 days.
