    The IRC channel & the forums are slightly different places.

    At the IRC channel, it's kewl to be thugz, mafias, gangstas & trollgaters. Here in the forum, proper conduct is to be expected as the forum's general tendency is to be a welcoming & friendly community. If it had gone the same path as the rest of the web RomUlation won't get this much user traffic & gain people's "trust" like the rest of the nastier places out there.
