Yeah before puberty Ash, I know it was a girl, that's why I said guy as even though guy is technically a male term it can be used as a term of uncertainty. Haven't you played Valkyrie Profile? It was that Bowman kid, forgot his name but he was the one searching for the Cerulean Lapis & wished that the mermaid would be reunited with her family, meaning that she should die.

I always name the main character Rod or ROD, I just like the name ever since I saw it in Pokemon Trading Cards for GBC. Cool game as well. Mini-games and optional stuff to do is a good bonus for a game as well, particular for an RPG.

I have seen lot of people overhyping the games for its exellent graphics, take Crysis for example it was considered better than Gears of War. They told it still while Gears of War having more positive aspects.

crysis is a good game, not just the graphics. It's main letdown is that EA rushed it (typical) and cut corners during testing, as a result it has some very bad bugs that should have been caught and fixed.

i think gameplay and controls go together but yeah if the controls suck, i don't play either.

thats why every other MMORPG besides Wow is horrible to me since I can't walk around right.
no strafe, no follow camera, no bind keys, no jump. bleh.

insane is a bit pushy, MMORPGs weren't originally meant to have those controls.

he's more then pushy, he's insanecrazy07. ;D strafe on an rpg?? ??? there's no need to dodge anything since you have defence points and magic protection as well as armor points.

kamage, originality is last?? i see a lot of rehash. so a lot of ff7 rehashes with better graphics and movies, hence ffx. ;D

Fable for the PC is pretty good except that the camera is static and I have to keep pressing a button to have it follow behind me.

too bad its not an MMORPG...

    Ranked in order.

    1.Gameplay and Controls
    2.Multiplayer
    2.Storyline
    3.Graphics
    4.Sound/Music

The reason that I think gameplay and controls is the most important is that because, for example, a fighting game doesn't really need good storyline and graphics. It can be 2D,but it'll still be nice, like Marvel vs Capcom on the arcade systems and home consoles.

And actually,I think what makes me play game after completing it,is its multiplayer elements. If a game's good, you would want it to have multiplayer as well.Imagine Counter Strike or Pokemon without multiplayer.

You all know that the storyline for Pokemon sucks, but the reason I still play it after completing it is as we want to kick our friends' asses in Pokemon. And arcade fighters, where you get a sense of achievement after winning your friend in it.And then if you lose, you'll want to train harder in that game and take revenge on that guy/girl the next time you both play together.

And by the way,I think this is a really meaningful thread.
