Really? Do you really think that the opium production in Afghanistan is all illegal? Use your whit for a second and understand that almost 100% (about 94%) of non-synthetic analgesic is born from Afghan poppy and used by the UK/USA. The reason synthetic opioids are not used for pain relief is that isolation of the pain relief carrier, morphine, presents a local toxicity, heroine or opium contains some shite that has an anti toxic effect. Truth is heroin/opium is non-toxic, the isolation of the anti-toxin has been done and it is called apo-morphine.
Apo-morphine is in itself very toxic but is great for getting people off heroin. For people who have zero heroin history apo-morphine is a disaster as it binds to the pain relief receptors in the brain but floods the body with toxins and can cause toxic shock. Opium is an odd ball in that someone in serious pain will get release from said pain, but when pain is absent opium will present a sense of pleasure.

Does your support of British troops include effective medicine? Did opium production increase in Afghanistan after the UK/USA invasion? Horrible though the taliban may be, do they fuck children at the same rate of christians do in Ireland or America? Cheap shot for sure but I would rather have a smack head for an uncle than a predator.

And sorry for calling you a cunt. My contempt of you is both futile and beyond such silly words. You do England proud.
