What will nintendo call the next console??

    It's not very far from the future it seems. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_reality
    VR have been used for training & research for a while. As for the gaming industry, all it need is realization, it seems rather hard to mass produce and game developers are still busy with Wii/XBOX360/PS3...

    yeah, i meant like making VR a household thing...that's not crappy either, i use have something where it when over my eyes and i had to fight ninjas by kicking the air and it was really unresponsive with crap graphics...etc.

    i know what natal is, and it's not much different than the wii or the new PS3 controllers coming out (can't think of the name)...just without a controller.

    I'm talking about VR, where you turn on your system and it projects the graphics all around you, so virtually you are in the game

    nope, it just a motion simulator much like what PS3 eye do in the PS3 eye pet game. you still cant feel the virtual world....

    yeah, it's hard to get rid of an S.T.Wii...

    Nintendo should make a handheld that uses discs instead of cards. But should keep the SD slot, but make it MicroSD instead... like the Nintendo rendition of a PSP... and maybe even be able to load gamecube discs as well... portable gamecube? why not, we already have portable 64's and PS1's

    he said gamecube games as well..which would make the handheld a little bit bigger.

    Nintendo wouldn't be Nintendo without the carts.

    maybe we'll get a bigger screen.
    I'd rather have one big wide screen, than two small ones that don't even join together.

    Nintendo just doesn't get it with discs.
    The N64 should've made the switch to CD, and when they did, they half-assed it with the Gamecube discs, and they're JUST NOW using 4.7s with the occasional DL ones.

    I wouldn't play GC games on a portable, since there is no casing to prevent scratches or skipping. Have fun with that. The UMD was perfect. I don't know why they're getting rid of it.

    well i was retarded and brought my UMDs to the beach and got sand in them...maybe a lot of people are as retarded as me so sony is forced to get rid of them
