Oh, Kangaroo, that was a great game!

At first I was gonna say "Super Mario Bros on the NES", but then I remembered I got the old CollecoVision and Atari 2600 from my cousins. So the first console game I played was Space Knight for the Collecovision.

Not sure on some of these, but here goes nothing:

• System: Atari VCS (CX2600)
• Game: Pitfall
• Comment: I might still have this system somewhere, not sure if it's a "Heavy Sixer" or "Light Sixer" but I do know it's one of the two. 8)

• System: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES-001)
• Game: CastleVania
• Comment: This is my favorite game for the system (tied with Zelda and Mario, natch). I may have played TENGEN Tetris at a neighbors before this.

• System: Sega Master System
• Game: Altered Beast

• System: Nintendo Game Boy (DMG-01)
• Game: Super Mario Land

• System: Nintendo Super NES (SNS-001)
• Game: Super Mario World
• Year: 1992
• Comment: This is my first experience with GOOD pack-in titles. The Game Boy had none; the NES shipped with Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, which was notriously short-lived.

• System: Sega Genesis
• Game: Sonic the Hedgehog

• System: Sony PlayStation (PSX)
• Game: Twisted Metal
• Year: 1996

• System: Nintendo 64 (NUS-001)
• Game: Super Mario 64
• Year: 1997
• Comment: Although GoldenEye in '99 totally kicked its ass, amirite? 8)

• System: Nintendo Game Boy Color (CGB-001)
• Game: Pokémon Red
• Year: 1998
• Comment: I actually got both Red and Blue at the same time. Yay for being a consumer whore! :D

• System: Nintendo GameCube
• Game: Super Smash Bros
• Year: 2000
• Comment: Played this at a friend's house, so sorry, no idea if it was a DOL-001 or DOL-101.

• System: Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2)
• Game: Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX 2
• Year: 2002

• System: Nintendo Game Boy Advance (AGB-001)
• Game: CastleVania: Circle of the Moon
• Year: 2003
• Comment: To this day, I have never bought another Game Boy cartridge.

• System: Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP-1000)
• Game: ATV Off-Road Challenge: Blazin' Trails
• Year: 2004
• Comment: Again, a decent pack-in, which - between that and homebrew (yes, I do use it as a universal remote) - kept me occupied until GTA came out.

• System: Nintendo Wii (RVL-001)
• Game: Console: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
• Game: VirtCon: Mario Kart 64
• Game: WiiWare: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King
• Year: 2007
• Comment: Twilight Princess was the whole reason I got the system, so I'm using the year I originally purchased it.
...and that's my history of gaming.

Fun Fact: This list took me nearly an hour to formulate and format before actually posting it. :D
No doubt, though I just blew through my August budget for video games without that thought crossing my mind, so I'll have to be content to wallow in self-pity.
And Twilight Princess.
Self-Pity and Twilight Princess.

Sounds like a kickass name for a song. :D

My first console was the 'SEGA Master System'

My first games;

1. Captain America
2. Captain Planet
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
4. Super 190 in 1 ----> this one contain a lot of games;
* All time favorite from the cart content includes, excite bike, mappy, ice climber, battle tanx, etc.
and several other cartridges.

Still have all of those carts and console, I heard the 190 in 1 cart is much sought after as a very rare collectible item. I heard it could fetch quite high price. And yes, I got it. That very exact cartridge, in good condition.

My second console ever was the Sega Game Gear, only got 2 cartridges; Sonic and Tails, and Bare Knuckles.
